BENSON OMOLE Min. “The Bible is not the word of God, but that it contains the word of God.” The modern-day religious liberals have advanced this deceiving statement to impact upon the gullible, who would be taken by their tactics. The idea of this statement is that in the Bible, one will find Gods word; however, all of the Bible is not directed by God. This statement, and its ideas we must deny as untrue, and deceiving! Having decided upon the basis of weighty evidences (both internal and external), that the Bible is the word of God, we must determine to what extent we believe it to be so. Surely, no one would say that God spoke every word in the Bible, from His own mind. In Genesis chapter three, the words of the Devil are recorded. The words of the Pharisees, and the Sadducees as they confronted the Christ are also recorded in the Holy Bible. The statements of Men, Kings and Queens are equally recorded in the Bible!
