AN EXAMINATION OF THE MUSLIM RELIGION.

The muslim religion was founded early in the seventh century by mohammed. His followers call their faith Islam,which means "submission"(to the will of Allah). Their sacred book is called the Quran(or Koran) which "reading" We will undertake our examination of some of the teachings of this book.
JESUS IS A PROPHET OF ALLAH.
The Quaran -, chapter4, verse172 says,0" people of the book,(Christians) exceed not the limit in your religion,and say not of Allah (God) anything but the truth. Verily,the Messiah, Jesus,son of Mary,was only a Messenger (Prophet) of Allah.......". Muhammed affirms Jesus is a prophet. In the same chapter,verses151 and 152,Muhammed again says,"disbelieving in one messenger (Prophet) of Allah, is to disbelieving all and these indeed are veritable disbelievers ,and we have prepared for the disbelieving an humiliating punishment". Jesus,a prophet says,"I am the way,and the truth,and the life;no one comes to the father,but through me"(john14v6 NAS). Since all muslims should believe in christ,the prophet of Allah,any muslim who think he can bypass christ and go to the father is a disbeliever and humiliating punishment await him. Jesus, being a prophet of Allah, cannot tells lies. To disbelieve what Jesus said is to disbelieve Muhammed and the Quran (4:151-152).
THE SONSHIP 0F CHRIST. Quran4:172b says,"Allah is the only one God. far is it from his holiness that he should have a son.". Mohammed said Again,God told marry through an angel"that I may bestow on thee a righteous son,"and Marry said"how can I have a son when no man has touched me,neither have I been unchaste?" The angel replied."Thus it is. But says thy Lord, it is easy for me;and we shall do so that we may make him sign unto men" (Q.19:20-23). If it is Allah who gave the righteous son to marry while a virgin. then the Quran itself proves that Jesus christ is the son of God. God is the father of what the seed given to marry produced.
OPPONENTS OF MUSLIM RELIGION.MOHAMMAD'S MESSAGE TO MUSLIMS; fight everyone in the way of allah and kill those who disbelieve in allah.(ibn shaq 992) Quran 4:90;33:61-62 says opponents of muslim religion must be killed,Jesus,in the Bible, says,Love your enemies and overcome evil with good(Luke6:27;ROM 12:21). Muhammed is a prophet of war and hatred-Jesus is a prophet of peace and love. which of these two is from the merciful God? Quran29:47 says, "we (muslims)believe in that which has been revealed to us and that which has been revealed to you (Christians); and our God and your God is one."How can Muslim believe in two things that contradict one another? Since God forbids killing and hatred,all should endeavour to follow a prophet of peace and love: Jesus Christ.
THE LIFE OF MUHAMMED. Muhammed allowed four wives for all true muslim(Q4:4),but allowed himself alone as many wives as he could marry-many more than any faithful muslim is allowed(Q33:51-53). Many people desired to see miracles from mohammed, but he did none(Q17:91-95). However, in Q5:111, Muhammed clearly said that Jesus performed many miracles including raising the dead and healing the blind. Why did leading people of God perform Miracles? Moses performed miracles before the people of Isreal and Egypt so they would know that God had sent him.(Exodus4v1-5) Jesus performed miracles for the people to believe that "Jesus is the Christ,the son of God;and believing you may have life in his name"(John20v30-31, NAS). Why then couldn't Muhammed also perform miracles? The reason is obvious Mohammed was an imposter; God did not send him (Jeremiah23v21-22).
WASHING OF FEET. Muslim claim one can't pray to God without the washing of one's feet with water. In Quran5:7 we read,".....and if you are ill or you are on a journey while unclean,or one of you comes from the privy or you have touched women, and you find not water,betake yourself to pure dust and wipe therewith your faces and your hands..."Quran2:240 says,"if you are in a state of fear,then say your prayer on foot or ridding...". What if I am in a vehicle or in an airplane and an accident is about to occur? I am afraid and want to pray,but there is no water or "pure dust" will I tell the airplane to wait for me to go and get water or "pure dust" so I can pray before the accident? The muslims are not consistent with their doctrine. they refer to John 13:4-17 where jesus washed the feet of his disciples to confirm their teaching. This scripture cannot support their false teaching. In verse 14 and 15 Jesus said,"if I then, the Lord and the Teacher, washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet for I gave you an example that you also should do as I did to you"(John13:14,15, NAS). Jesus said,"wash one another's feet....He said nothing about washing your own feet nor did He make this a religious obligation. Jesus did not tell anyone to wash hands head,ear,and anus before prayer. If you do, you are adding to God's law(deuteronomy4:2). Because of its importance, Jesus washed the feet himself to set an example(verse15). What was Jesus teaching here? Only one thing: "if I then,your Lord and Master, have washed your feet..."If. Master serves a servant, it means the servant should serve more than the Master did. Therefore Jesus was teaching humility and service with that fine illustration. God will never call for water or dust for the same prayer. our God is not a God of confusion(1corinthians14:33) God requires nothing physical from anybody before praying-only a pure life and heart(Isaiah59:1-2) muslims who demand the washing of feet before prayer are condemned before God for adding to God's word.(Rev22:18-19).
CONTRADICTION OF THE QURAN. Quran4:90,33:61,62 says, opponents of muslim religion must be killed,and in Quran2:273 it says,"it is not thy responsibility to make them follow the right path;but Allah guide whomever he pleases..." Why should they fight and kill the unbelievers of the muslim religion if it is not their responsibility to let them follow the right path. There should be no compulsion in religion...(2:257).Why then do they compel people to become muslim by threat and killing?this is a big contradiction of the Quran indeed.
THE WITNESSING OF JESUS ON JUDGEMENT DAY. Muhammed said,"we did not kill the messiah,son of marry,the messenger of Allah, whereas they slew him not,nor crucified him,but he was made to appear to them like one crucified....And there is none among the people of the book (christians) but will believe in it before his death; and on the day of resurrection,he (Jesus) shall be a witness (Quran4:158-160). Why should the good God use Jesus death to deceive many in order to get them to her? Is God a respecter of person? Does he want only a handful of people to be saved? Can any responsible person believe that the good merciful God would deceive people who are anxious to worship him?
Light AND GUIDANCE IN THE BIBLE. Muhammed says,"...And we caused jesus,son of Mary,to follow in their footsteps fulfilling that which was revealed before him in the Torah (law of Moses) and we gave him the Gospel(law of Jesus,new Testament)which contained guidance and light...and let people of the Gospel judge according to what Allah has revealed therein,and whose Judges,not by what Allah has revealed,these it is who are the rebellious"(Q.5:45-48). Listen to Muhammed again "and we gave him(Jesus) the gospel which contained guidance and light"(verse47). Where there is a guidance and light no one can miss his or her way to God. I, therefore,invite all muslim friend to join Christians in worshipping God through the new Testament which muhammed,their own prophet,says contains" guidance and light"(Muhammed cannot be wrong here). Listen to Muhammed once more"and whoso judges not by what Allah has revealed,these it is who are rebellious".(Verse48). If a christian doesn't judge by this,he is rebellious,if a muslim doesn't judge by this he is rebellious. All who will not judge by this are rebellious. All rebellious people has missed the "light and guidance" therefore they have missed the way to God. if you miss the way to God,you go to Satan---- straight to hell.(Quran4:168-170).
CONCLUSION. In Acts4:12,we read,"and there is salvation in no one else;for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men,by which we must be saved,"Christ says,"I am the way and the truth,and the life,no one comes to the father,but through me"(John14:6 NAS).
HOW TO GET TO CHRIST. 1 Hear and Believe(Roman 10:13-17;Hebrews11:6).
2 Repent(Luke13:3)why repent? Therefore having overlook the times of ignorance,God is now declaring to men that all everywhere should repent,because he has fixed a day in which he will judge the world in righteousness through a man whom he has appointed, having furnished proof to all men by raising him from the dead"(Acts 17:30-31 NAS). From what must you repent?You must repent from the works of the flesh,such as fornication,adultery,murder,drunkenness,smoking,abortion,polygamy,polyandryan and homosexuality. (Galatians5:19-21;Colossians 3:5-9).
3 Confess.(Mathew 10:32-33;Romans 10:9-10;Acts 8:35-39).
4 Baptize.(Acts2:38;22:16 Rom6:3-5;Col 2:12)that is by immersion or burial in water. "For all of you were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ"(Gal 3:27,NAS)when one puts on christ,it means that one has entered into Christ's body-his church (Col 1:18). We are therefore pleading with all to forsake vain teaching of men(Mathew15:7-9)and take only to the Pure teachings of the new Testament which God will use in judging the whole world at the judgement day.(John12:48-50;Rev20:11-15). You can't live wrong and die right,for,"do not be deceived,God is not mocked;for whatever a man sows,this he will also reap"(Gal6:7,NAS).
