What About Infant Baptism? By Benson Omole. Introduction. 1. Baptism is from Greek word meaning immersion. It became necessary, and compulsory for sinners to be immersed in water, as commanded by Jesus Christ, before admittance into the family of God.  Matt. 28:19-20; Gal. 3:27; Eph. 4:5. 2.  Who is to be baptized:  Just Nobody?   Just Everybody?   Infant, and Babies?   The Christians?   The Lost?   The Saved? 3.  If you fit the Bible description of who is to be baptized, then you need to obey Jesus now! – 1 Jno. 2:3-5 4.  infant —  noun a child during the earliest period of its life, especially before he or she can walk; baby. HOW THE HOLY SPIRIT INDWELL A CHRISTIAN. Many people in this age still believe that the direct, and personal operations of the Holy Spirit is still possible! 1.    Whether the Holy Spirit dwells in a Christian, it is evident that He does. Read Rom. 8:9-11; 1 Cor. 6:19; 2 Tim. 1:14; 1 Jno. 3:24. 2.    Then HOW does the Holy Spirit dwell in the Christian? All Possible Options:     a.    By a direct, personal indwelling of the Holy Spirit in the body and life of the Christian.     b.    Through a life of obedient faith. Hence, it is an expression of the fellowship with deity which the Christian enjoys. ( Phil. 2:1). 3.    The Holy Spirit "dwells in" the Christian in the same way which the Father and the Son dwell in a Christian also- Through one's obedient faith to the revealed word of God:     a.
