                 "25 THINGS THAT SAVE”

1. GOD saves - Romans 8:33 “Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect?    It is God who justifies."

2. CHRIST saves - John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that He gave His    only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him SHOULD not perish but have everlasting life”

3. HOLY SPIRIT saves - I Cor 6:11 “And such were some of you. But you   were washed, but your were sanctified, but you were justified in the name    of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.”

4. FAITH saves - Heb 11:6 “Without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he  who comes to God must believe that He is,  and that He is a rewarder of    those who diligently seek Him.” See also Eph 2:8; 2 Cor. 5:7; John 8:24

5. THE WORD saves - James 1:21 “Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness the implanted word,  which is able to save your souls”

6. PREACHING saves - I Cor 1:21 “For since, in the wisdom of God, the world  through wisdom did not know God, it pleased God through the foolishness  of the preaching to save those who believe.”

7. HEARING saves - Rom. 10:17 “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing  by the Word of God.”

8. REPENTANCE saves - 2 Cor 7:10 “For godly sorrow produces repentance  leading to salvation, not to be regretted; but the sorrow of the world  produces death” See also Acts 2:38; 17:30, 32; 2 Pet. 3:9

9. CONFESSION saves - Rom. 10:10 - “For with the heart one believes UNTO  righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made UNTO salvation.”

10. BAPTISM saves - I Pet. 3:21 - “There is also an antitype which now saves    us:  baptism, (not the removal of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a  good conscience toward God), through the resurrection of Jesus Christ”

11. GRACE saves - Eph 2:8, 9 - “For by grace are you saved through faith, and  that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, lest anyone should boast” See    also Eph 2:5

12. MERCY saves - Tit. 3:5 - “Not by works of righteousness which we have  done, but according to His mercy He saved us,  through the washing of  regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit”

13. LOVE saves - John 3:16 - “For God so loved the world that He gave His only  begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him SHOULD not perish but have  everlasting life.”

14. BLOOD OF CHRIST saves - Heb. 7:27 - “Who does not need daily, as those High Priest, to offer up sacrifices, first for His own sins, then for the people’s, for this He did once for all when He offered up Himself.”  See also  Matt 26:28, Heb 9:22

15. LIFE OF CHRIST saves - Rom. 5:10 - “For if when we were sinners  (enemies) we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.”

16. DEATH OF CHRIST saves - Rom. 5:9 “Much more then, having now been  justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.”

17. GOSPEL OF CHRIST - saves - Rom. 1:16 “For I am not ashamed of the  Gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God UNTO SALVATION for everyone who believers for the Jew first and also for the Greek”

18. DOING GOD’S WILL saves - Matt. 7:21 “Not everyone who says to Me,  ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will  of My Father in heaven”  See also Heb. 5:8

19. BEING RIGHTEOUS saves - Matt. 5:20 “ For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you  will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.”

20. ENDURING TO THE END saves - Matt. 20:22  “And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. But he who ENDURES to the end will be saved.        See also Rev. 2:10

21. CALLING ON THE NAME OF THE LORD saves - Acts 2:21 “And it shall  come to pass that whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”      See also Acts 22:16b

22. THE ONE DOCTRINE saves - I Tim 4:16 “Take heed to yourself and to the  doctrine. Continue in them, for in doing this you will save both yourself and  those that hear you.”

23. TURNING A SINNER AWAY FROM THE ERROR OF HIS WAY saves - James  5:20 “Let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will  save a soul from death and cover a multitude of sins.”

24. THE NAME OF JESUS saves - Acts 4:12 “Nor is there salvation in any other,  for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we  must be saved.”

25. CHILDBEARING saves - I Tim. 2:15 “Nevertheless she will be saved in  childbearing, if they continue in faith, love and holiness, with self-control”

Question:  Can one passage be ignored?  I believe that each scriptures plays its part in the salvation of man.
