A CHARGE TO THE CHURCH.

MEDICAL VACATION TO ABUJA, NIGERIA.

Beloved Saints,

I write to remind you that by God’s Grace,  I have arrived in Abuja, to undergo necessary medical examinations and treatment for myself. I appreciate your love, prayers and concerns.
James 5:14 "Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church...”
We must believe in prayers and also in medical care. 1Tim. 5:23; Col. 4:14.

Please keep me in prayers:
1. For wisdom for the Doctors and Specialists in Abuja
2. For God’s healing hand, comfort, and strength for the procedure and recovery
3. For safety in the journey and provisions for the treatment.
4. Please, remember my household in your prayers.

I trust the Lord for complete restoration. Jer. 30:17 “For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the LORD.”; Issaiah 53: 5.
While I am away, the work of the Lord continues. Amen!
The gates of hell must not prevail. Mat. 16:18.

A CHARGE TO THE CHURCH:

BRETHREN, REMAIN STEADFAST ON HIGHER GROUND.
Even as I step away for treatment, my burden for you does not change!
1 Cor.15:58 “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord...”.

I CHARGE YOU THEREFORE:

1. Be Dedicated to the Faith.
Jude 1:3 “...contend earnestly for the faith...” Do not let my absence cool your fire. Keep prayer, keep the Word, keep worship, keep evangelism. Higher ground is maintained by consistency, not emotion.

2. Be Cooperative with Church Leadership. Hebrews 13:17 “Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves...”
The Elders, Deacons, Teachers, and appointed leaders are laboring for your souls. Submit to them in love, not in fear. A united house stands. A divided house falls Mark 3:25!!!

3. Avoid Conflicts, Pursue Peace.
Romans 12:18 “If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.”
Galatians 5:22 “...the fruit of the Spirit is... peace...” Do not give the enemy the undeserved opportunity through gossip, offense, or stubbornness, Ephesians 4:27. If an issue arises, follow Matthew 18:15. Cover one another in love 1 Peter 4:8.

4. Remain Peaceful by the Spirit. Philippians 4:7 “...the peace of God... shall keep your hearts and minds..." Let the Spirit, not the flesh, lead every meeting, every decision, every conversation. Where the Spirit is, there is order 1Cor. 14:33.

5. A Beloved Bro. Eniola Kunle will, from tomorrow, be admonishing you daily, in the morning, through our WhatsApp platform.
Preachers, particularly from Ekiti State will be worshipping with you on some Sundays. The Elders and Deacons have been notified.
The Triad Teachers:
Bro. Olaoluwa Adaramola,
Bro. Johnson Ogundele, and
Bro. Michael Emmanuel, have been duly recommended by me, to the Elders for the regular Sunday Teachings, in the absence of any Visiting Preacher. We have studied, and trained together. They will maintain the doctrine of Christ.

LASTLY.
Dear Brethren, you are not orphaned. Jesus Christ is still the Head. Col. 1:18. Also, the Spirit is still in charge Acts 13:2.
Psalm 121:1-2 “I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the LORD...”.
Stand strong. Pray for me. Support one another. Keep the doors open for souls. I'm looking forward to returning to you, by God’s mercy, stronger to continue to serve.

My Prayers For You:
Lord, keep Your people steadfast, dedicated, united, and peaceful.
Let no conflict take root.
Let the Spirit rule.
Strengthen the leadership and the flock, And, by the authority of our Lord Jesus Christ, I prayed, Amen!
Your Brother,
In His service,
Benson Omole.
