THE BIBLE SPEAKS DAILY (NOVEMBER 3rd, 2024)

TODAY’S TOPIC:
FAITH DECLARES THE USEFULNESS OF THE BLOOD OF JESUS.

TODAY'S VERSE: 1 PETER 1:18, 19.

"...Knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like Silver or Gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your Fathes, but with the precious Blood of Christ, as of a Lamb without blemish and without spot..."

To many people, the Blood of Jesus Christ was shed basically for almost anything, and everything! 
Some people will even cover themselves with the Blood of Jesus Christ, just as an Amulet against auto accidents, the Devil, against any Evil spirit and attack. The precious Blood of the Lamb was never shed, at the cross, as a security object.
   However, the Bible mentioned some usefulness of the Blood of Christ:

a. The Blood Of Christ Makes Peace With God, Col. 1:20.

The Blood of Jesus Christ brings us nearer to God, the Almighty.
One is an enemy of God because of sin. (Col. 1:21), but the blood of Christ heals and seals the fractured fellowship and makes one to be at peace with God. "...For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation,..." Ephesians 2:14.
"....and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace;..." Ephesians 6:15.

b. The Blood of Christ Washes Us From Our Sins (Rev. 1:5; 7:14).

Sin is a stain, a blot and blemish of the soul. The blood of Christ is the cleansing agent, and "though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow" (Isa. 1:18). "...that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word,..." Ephesians 5:26.  "...And now why are you waiting? Arise and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord.’ Acts 22:16.
Reading the above, you will learn when this washing away of our sins occurs.

c. The Blood of Christ redeems us (Eph. 1:7; Col. 1:14; 1 Pet. 1:18,19; Heb. 9:12).

To be guilty of sin is to be a slave (Jn. 8:34). The Blood of Jesus purchases our pardon and makes us free from sin, free from its bondage. In "obeying the truth" given "through the Spirit," one obtains the redemption (1 Pet. 1:22).

d. The Blood of Christ justifies us (Rom. 5:9).

The verdict is in "Guilty as charged," it declares (Rom. 3:9,23). Apart from the Blood of Christ, justification is sought in vain. "...For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us..." Rom. 5:6-8.  “…But God be thanked that though you were slaves of sin, yet you obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine to which you were delivered. And having been set free from sin, you became slaves of righteousness…” Romans 6:17,18. 
Find out when one may receive justification from sin by the Blood of Christ, from the verses.

e. The Blood of Christ Sanctifies Us (Heb. 10:29).

“…Therefore Jesus also, that He might sanctify the people with His own blood, suffered outside the gate…” Hebrews 13:12.
Humans not set apart for God’s service, and consecrated unto Him, were seen as profane and perishable, unfit for Divine service. A soul sinning will perish, but once set apart, and sanctified by the blood of Jesus, it will become fit for the Master's use and service, 2 Thess. 2:13,14; Jn. 17:17; Eph. 5:26.

f. The Blood of Christ Remits Our Sin (Matt. 26:28; Heb. 9:22).

Jesus shed his blood "for the remission of sins," and without it there "is no remission," or forgiveness of sins. Luke 24:47; Acts 2:3 8 and 3:19 tell us when the blood of Christ blots out our sins.

g. The Blood of Christ Purchased His Church, Acts 20:28.

“…And they sang a new song, saying: "You are worthy to take the scroll, And to open its seals; for You were slain, And have redeemed us to God by Your blood Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, And have made us Kings and Priests to our God; And we shall reign on the Earth." Revelation 5:9-10.

   After reading this truth, this Gospel of Christ, which was revealed by the Holy Spirit, If you have not obeyed the Truth; in other words, you have not Believed, Repented and not Immersed in water, by the name (authority) of Jesus Christ for the Remission of sins, then you have not received any of the blessings of the Blood of Christ as cited and listed above.
Perhaps you have obeyed the Truth in times past; perhaps you have been Purged, Cleansed from your old or past sins by the Blood of Christ, but you have fallen aside again, and you have become unfaithful to the Blood of the Covenant wherewith you were sanctified.
 What do you have to do now?
Repent, Confess, Pray and Walk in the Light, "…and the blood of Jesus Christ" will cleanse you from all sin (Acts 8:22; 1 Jn. 1:7-9).

Today, stop using His Blood as an Amulet, to cover you, and protect you from the Enemy. The Blood of Jesus Christ is not to be used to ward off the Devil, Witches and the Wizards.
Items needed for the Spiritual Warfare were enumerated for you in the Ephesians 6:10-18. 
The Blood of Christ is not for the Spiritual Warfare against your Enemies!!!

TODAY'S PRAYER:
Precious Father of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, I appreciate You for the shed Blood of Your only begottened Son, for my redemption, sanctification, justification, for the remission of my sins, and for my purchase price from the Kingdom of Darkness, into the Kingdom of Christ.
Dear Heavenly Father, help me to sustain my precious salvation, in the face of all doubting temptations and sufferings.
Father, help to heal the Sick and provide for the Needy among us, AMEN.
