THE BIBLE SPEAKS DAILY (NOVEMBER 5th, 2024).
TODAY'S VERSE: 1Corinthians 14:34-35
"Let your Women keep silent in the Churches, for they are not permitted to speak; but they are to be submissive, as the Law also says. And if they want to learn something, let them ask their own Husbands at home; for it is shameful for Women to speak in Church." (nkjv)
These days, Women are increasingly taking the roles of Evangelists and Pastors in many Churches, but is this part of the work of God or a part of the rebellion of people against God?
This question cannot be answered by Human traditions, Emotions, or Opinions. The Bible is the inspired Word of God which answers every religious question so that we may be "thoroughly furnished unto all good works" (2 Tim. 3:16-17).
WORK OF AN EVANGELISTS.
First, the Bible defines each work in the Church. Ephesians 4:11-12.
An Evangelist publicly proclaims the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
An Evangelist is also described in the Bible as a Preacher, Minister of the Gospel.
The Bible describes the work of an Evangelist in this manner:
"Preach the Word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an Evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry"
2 Tim. 4:1-5.
Paul was an Apostle, Teacher, also a Preacher, especially dedicated to teaching the Gentiles
(1 Tim. 2:7).
An Evangelist may travel from place to place at times; he also may remain with the same Church for several years, teaching "publicly" and from "house to house" (Acts 20:20,31).
WORK OF A PASTOR.
The Pastor's work is entirely different from the work of an Evangelist.
A Pastor is a Shepherd of God's people, as the Saints were viewed as the Sheep.
Therefore, Shepherds/Pastors were also called Elders in the Bible because of their Spiritual Maturity, and Experience.
Confirm this in the Bible:
"...From Miletus he sent to Ephesus and called for the Elders of the Church........ Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you Overseers, to
Shepherd the Church of God which He purchased with His own blood..." Acts 20:17, 28 NKJV
In the Bible verse above, Paul was encouraging the Elders of the Church of Ephesus.
He admonished them that the Holy Spirit has made them Overseers.
Then, he went further to command them to Shepherd the Church of God.
Therefore, the same Elders, were Overseers(Bishops), and Shepherds.
a. Bishops because they Overseer the Local Church.
b. Pastors (or Shepherds), because they feed the Flock with spiritual Food.
c. Elders (or Presbyters), because they have the experience, which comes with age and maturity.
All these offices refer to the same person doing the same work (Acts 20:17, 28; Tit. 1:5, 7). This work involves overseeing and managing all the affairs of a Local Church:
a. "...Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood..." Acts 20:28.
b. "...Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind..." (1 Pet. 5:2).
The unique work of a Pastor, or Shepherd, or Bishop is not to publicly proclaim the Gospel of Christ, as an Evangelist.
False religions of today, camouflaging as a Christian religion, has confused the roles of these Biblical offices.
Each Local Church must have a plurality of Pastors, Shepherds, and Bishops, never a one-man Pastor in a Local Church. Read it in the Bible:
".. .So when they had appointed Elders in every Church, and prayed with fasting, they commended them to the Lord in whom they had believed..." Acts 14:23.
ARE THERE WOMEN CHURCH OFFICERS IN THE BIBLE?
God's Word teaches that Men, not Women, are to serve as Officers in the Churches.
No Woman is authorized by God's Word, to function in the Church, as Officers.
Jesus Christ as Head of His Church forbids Women to take the roles of Public Leadership in the Churches. For the position of the Women in the Churches, Jesus Christ commanded, in His New Testament, as follows:
a. "...Let a woman learn in silence with all submission. And I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man, but to be in silence..." 1Timothy 2:11-12.
The Bible gave the following reasons:
b. "...For Adam was formed first, then Eve. And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived, fell into transgression..." 1 Timothy 2:13-14.
The Bible went further to give additional reason why Women must not be a Head over a Man, either at Home or in the Church of God:
c. "...But I want you to know that the head of every man is Christ, the head of woman is man, and the head of Christ is God. Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonors his head. But every woman who prays or prophesies with her head uncovered dishonors her head, for that is one and the same as if her head were shaved... For this reason the woman ought to have a symbol of authority on her head, because of the angels..." 1Corinthians 11:3-10.
1. These verses above explained why no Woman was appointed an Apostle of Christ.
2. The same reason explains why a Woman must not be appointed a Pastor/Shepherd/Bishop in 1Timothy 3:1-2: "...A bishop then must be blameless, the Husband of One Wife, temperate, sober-minded, of good behavior, hospitable, able to teach; I Timothy 3:2.
3. The same reason why a Woman must not be appointed a Deacon. Read it in the Bible: "...Let Deacons be the Husbands of One Wife, ruling their Children and their own Houses well..." 1Timothy 3:12.
4. Women are not permitted to teach, or preach in any assembly of the Saints, where there are Men present!!!
Women must never be given any authority that will place her above the Male Christians.
The New Testament of our Lord Jesus Christ affirmed that this arrangement of Women in the Churches is the Command of God the Almighty:
"...For God is not the author of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints. Let your women keep silent in the churches, for they are not permitted to speak; but they are to be submissive, as the law also says. And if they want to learn something, let them ask their own husbands at home; for it is shameful for women to speak in church. Or did the word of God come originally from you? Or was it you only that it reached? If anyone thinks himself to be a prophet or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things which I write to you are the commandments of the Lord. But if anyone is ignorant, let him be ignorant..." 1Corinthians 14:33-38.
A pastor must be a Man.
No Woman can be a true Christian and accept to be a Lady Evangelist, or be a Female Pastor, in a Local Church.
Any Church which tolerates such practices is an advocate of a false Christian religion. To be an Anti-Christ is to be against Christ. To be against Christ is to teach and preach against the Word of Christ's Testament. Beware!!!
In the face of all these Bible books and verses, could you defend your position of Women ordination in Churches, publicly on a Radio? If yes, get in touch!
YOU CAN ESCAPE THIS FALSE CHRISTIAN PRACTICE, AND RELIGION.
Any person who remains in a Church with Lady Evangelists and Female Pastors identifies himself with Satan and false religion, and thus wears the mark of the beast as others have done in the past (Rev. 13:11-18).
Another such identifying mark is the substitution with Human Plans, the God's plan by which Men are to receive the remission of their sins.
God says,
"Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost" (Acts 2:38).
False religions say, "Repent for the remission of sins before and without water baptism. Perhaps you will be baptized later, but not for the remission of sins."
Through the Gospel of Christ, God calls men to leave every FALSE RELIGION, to receive the forgiveness of sins by an obedient faith in Christ Jesus, and thus be added to the true Church of Christ found in the New Testament (Acts 2:47).
Good GOD is willing to safe YOU.
Are YOU willing to be SAVED?
Read, Study, Meditate and Do the Will of God always.
TODAY'S PRAYER:
Precious Father of my soul, please save me from the perdition of Hell.
Help me to obey the Testament of my salvation.
Help me to avoid the lust of the eyes, and of the flesh, and the pride of life. Enable me to be filled with your Word.
Heal the Sick and provide for the Needy around us, AMEN!
