WHY BEHAVING IN THIS WAY? (Part Two)
WHY BEHAVING IN THIS WAY? (Part Two).
The Genesis account of creation provides the foundational biblical image of humanity. Genesis 1:24–28 records that God made humans on the sixth day to complete His creational work.
According to the creation account, humans were:
a. Created by God, (Gen 1:26–27).
b. Beings distinct from the rest of creation (Gen 1:26)
c. Created as man and woman to be fruitful (Gen 1:27–28)
d. Made from the dust of the ground and infused with the breath of life (Gen 2:7) capable of entering into relationships with: (i). other humans and, (ii). with God (Gen 2:18).
The creation account establishes the truth that humans are separate from God, but must dependent on Him. (Psalms 104; 147; 148).
It also establishes that God is wholly other than His creation. It is the capacity for entering into a personal relationship with God that sets humans apart from the rest of creation.
However, Humans have different kinds of characteristics and personalities.
WHAT IS PERSONALITY?
1. The term personality is derived from the Latin word persona, which means mask!
2. For a layman, personality generally refers to the physical or external appearance of an individual. For example, when we find someone “good looking”, we often assume that the person also has a charming personality.
3. Rather than looking at parts of the person, personality looks at some aggregate whole that is greater than the sum of the parts. In psychological terms, personality refers to our characteristic ways of responding to individuals, and situations.
TYPES OF PERSONALITY.
1. Human characters, attitudes, mood, dispositions were generally classified into two main psychological types: a. Introvert and b. Extrovert.
2. It was later concluded, based on research and experience that all individuals could not be fitted into only these two types, a third one called Ambivert, was later added.
HOW TO KNOW AN INTROVERT?
a. An introvert limits his acquaintance to a very few number.
b. An introvert is very conservative and always suspicious of the motives of others.
c. He is not a sociable person, he prefers to remain in the background on all occasions.

e. He is very reserved, self-nurtured, and introspective, absent minded, remains worried and always daydreaming.
