WHY PRAY?
Why Pray?
The man replied, "NOTHING... BUT LET ME TELL YOU WHAT I LOST: ANGER, EGO, GREED, DEPRESSION, INSECURITY, COVETOUSNESS, SINFUL CONDUCTS, UNBELIEF, AND FEAR OF DEATH".
Sometimes, the answer to our prayers is not gaining, but losing, which ultimately is the greatest gain, Amen!
If your motivation for prayer is to get, get, get….. you’re going to be disappointed.
Philippians 4:6–7 says:
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
It’s not about things, junk & stuff, it’s about aligning yourself with God.
In His grip.
