IS ALLAH SAME GOD OF THE BIBLE?

IS ALLAH SAME GOD OF THE BIBLE? By Benjamin Owiredu. We encourage you to study these carefully. Friends, what religion today practices the pagan rites of the moon-god? Islam in many times has been a violent religion in which one has only two choices: 1.either convert or 2. die. The religion of Islam has as its focus of worship a deity by the name of "Allah." Allah was a pagan moon-god in Arabia during pre-Islamic times. Moon worship has been practiced in Arabia and the Middle East since about 2000 BC. The crescent moon is the most common symbol of this pagan moon worship. The moon-god was also referred to as "al-ilah". Originally this was not a proper name of a single specific god, but a generic name meaning "the god". Each local Arab tribe would refer to their own local tribal pagan god as "al-ilah". "Al-ilah" was later shortened to Allah before Mohammed began promoting his new religion in 610 AD. Mohammed retained almost all the pagan

The Gospel Plan of Salvation.

The Gospel  Plan of Salvation. Intro. 1. The gospel plan of salvation is plain, powerful and purposeful. 2. Many false plans deceive and deny salvation. 3. What can we learn about the purposes that under gird the gospel plan of salvation? Why is it what it is?   I.  WITHOUT  HEARING  THE GOSPEL SINNERS CANNOT  LEARN  OF SIN AND THE SAVIOR, Mk. 16:15  ( Rom. 3:9, 19, 23 ).   A.  We Must  Depend  on the  Word of God  for Knowledge, Understanding, Wisdom and Faith,  Psa. 119:105 .     1.  Must be  taught  God’s word,  Psa. 119:33-34 .     2.  God does the teaching!   Jno. 6:44-45  ( Isa. 54:13 )   B.  When the Gospel is  Heard  One is Being  Taught   by   Jesus   Christ ,  Eph. 4:20-21; Eph. 1:13 .     1.     Acts 26:18, 22-23 : When the apostle opened eyes to turn them from darkness (by gospel preaching,  v. 18 ) it was the Christ who was proclaiming light to the lost ( v. 23 ).     2.    Cannot believe in the Christ unless you first hear of Him,  Rom. 10:13-14 . (That requires preaching

SIN AND ITS CONSEQUENCES

SIN, AND ITS CONSEQUENCES. WHAT SIN IS.   1 John 3:4. Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. 1 John 5:17. All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death. James 4:17. Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin. Romans 14:23. And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin. MAN, AND SIN.   A.  God Created Man and Woman without Sin, Gen. 1:27; 2:25.   B.  Adam and Eve Chose to Sin, Gen. 2:16-17; 3:1-6 (1 Tim. 2:14).  1.  Sin entered the world through Adam (and death through sin), Rom. 5:12. This is the spiritual death of Gen. 2:17.  2.  Death passed to all men “because all sinned”, Rom. 5:12. C.  Sin and its Guilt is Individual, Ezek. 18:4, 20.  1.  The consequences of individual sins may affect others and future generations, Exo. 20:5. 2.  Physical death is a consequence of Adam’s sin that passes to us all, Gen. 3:19. Power of The Gospel.

"...For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith..." (Romans 1:16‭-‬17 NKJV). Why is the Church in such rapid retreat?  Many are ashamed of the gospel of Christ. The gospel is too narrow to be tolerated in today’s world.  The gospel insists that there is only one way to God and that is through Jesus Christ. The gospel insists that there is only one Church, in the plan of God, for Man's salvation. Eph.4:4; 1:22-23. The gospel insists that there is only one Hope, in Christianity. The hope of eternal life. Eph. 4:4-5. The gospel insists that there is only one Faith, which had been delivered, only once! Eph. 4:4-5; Jude 1:3. The gospel demands that we acknowledge that we are sinners and must repent of what we have done.  The gospel insists that we can’t

There Is One Body.

"There Is One Body..." Eph. 4:4a. The Bible says “There is one body...” (Ephesians 4:4). What is the one body?                                                     The book of Ephesians answers the question: “And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.”     (Eph. 1:22-23). In Ephesians, Paul is teaching exactly the same thing the Lord Jesus Christ taught. Our Lord said He would build His church: "...I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it..." (Matthew 16:18).                                                                                 The church is His body. Ephesians 4:4 tells us there is one church. It is built upon the one foundation which is Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:20; 1 Corinthians 3:11). Jesus is the head of the church: “For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the he
