Plan To Run The Race With Endurance.

Text: 

Hebrews 12:1-3

Introduction:

"Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith." 
(Hebrews 12:1-2)

Points Of Admonition.

1. Fixing Our Eyes on Jesus: 
To remain dedicated, we must keep our focus on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith.

2. Running with Perseverance: 
We must run the race scripturally marked out for us, with purpose, perseverance, endurance, and determination.

3. Throwing Off Hindrances: 
We must identify and throw off anything that hinders us from running the race with ease and dedication.

Application Of These Admonition To Our Private Lives

1. Daily Commitment: 
Make a daily commitment to prioritize your relationship with God and His Word.
2. Overcoming Obstacles: 
Identify potential obstacles and develop scripturally approved strategies to overcome them, prayerfully.
3. Seeking Accountability: 
Surround yourself with people who will encourage and hold you accountable in your walk with God. Take advice, take counsel. 
4. Reflect on Your Commitment: 
Take time to reflect on your commitment to God and His Word. 
5. Pray for Perseverance: 
Pray for the perseverance and endurance to remain dedicated to the end. 
6. Seek Support: 
Seek support from fellow faithful believers and mentors to help you stay on track. Their monitoring and counseling will provide cautionary observations for your motives and actions. 
7. Be objective:
Do not be wise in your own counsel. Consider the overall purpose and goals of the Gospel of the salvation in Christ. Understand where you fit-in into this plan. You are not bigger than the plan, nor the Master!

Conclusion:
"Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up." (Galatians 6:9) 
May we remain dedicated to the end, fixing our eyes on Jesus and running the race with perseverance.
