THE BIBLE SPEAKS DAILY (26-10-2023)

Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect harmony .  Regardless of what else you put on, wear love. It's your basic, all-purpose garment. Never be without it.   Every believer in Jesus Christ has the responsibility to live right according to His Life, to be a doer according to the Word of God, and not just a Hearer who forgets.  Christians must be motivated by the reverential fear of the Lord, so that we can learn to live carefully, and begin to make a difference in the world we live in.   The man's duty: fear God and keep His commandments. A man is called to be a servant-leader: To take responsibility for his wife and children and to put their needs ahead of his own. He is called to demonstrate selfless, sacrificial love – the type of love we see in God toward his children.

NOTHING BUT THE WHOLE TRUTH!

Making it openly clear so that EVERYONE can understand... WE THE MEMBERS OF THE CHURCHES OF CHRIST ARE NOT your brothers and sisters UNTIL you give up your false religion and turn away from your false ways, and your sinful life of living, and become an obedient follower of Jesus Christ through obedience to the gospel of Jesus Christ!  THIS YOU MUST KNOW AND UNDERSTAND.  A Pentecostal person is not a Christian and a Christian is not a Pentecostal, and thus... the Christian and the Pentecostal aren't brothers and sisters and DO NOT HAVE ANY RELATIONSHIP IN CHRIST unless or until the Pentecostal person submit himself/her self to God's righteousness and obey the gospel of Jesus Christ. The only thing we can do is be loving and kind to the person or persons who are caught up in their false religion and teach him or her the truth in love and pray for them. But... if he or she who have religiously erred refused to adhere to the truth that we teach... we should shake the dust off our...

THE BIBLE SPEAKS DAILY (29092023). TODAY'S TOPIC:  TRAIN THEM, DON'T GIVE UP. TODAY'S VERSE: Proverbs 22:5‭-‬6 NKJV "...Thorns and snares are in the way of the perverse; He who guards his soul will be far from them. Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it..."  In today’s world, Drug Abuse has become the most common thing, and many youths are destroying their lives by getting addicted to drugs. It's very important to be proactive as Parents, and sensitize your child on the subject of drug abuse.  Drug abuse is ruining the lives of many, and putting their future in a great darkness of drug addictions and overdoses.  The question many Parents are faced with is "what can I do as a person, to combat this enormous problem?"  For the addict or the family of an addict, this issue is one of many that confront us. Getting help from rehab, and groups that deal with addiction can help.  However, maybe w...

THE BIBLE SPEAKS DAILY 27092023 TODAY'S TOPIC: THE STEADFAST LOVE OF THE LORD. TODAY'S VERSE: LAMENTATIONS 3:22-25. "...Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness. “The Lord is my portion,” says my soul, “Therefore I hope in Him!” The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, To the soul who seeks Him..." This word of lamentation is a very common passage among the Bible readers and Bible faith believers. They always rely on His promise for their daily living! For many decades, this passage has been in use, sharing great messages of hope for all who hold firm believe in God alone, and take its meanings and promises to their hearts.  Reading this passage, and meditating on it, one must be reminded of just how wonderful God truly is, and you can take that with you every minute of the life, even today.  There are many comforting messages like this throughout the Bible, ...

MY ADVICE FOR "PASTOR JIMMY ODUKOYA.

Image
– Jimmy Odukoya In an interview with BBC News Pidgin, Odukoya stated that he has scriptural backing for his appearance and the things he does. He said, “God has called me into this new season of my life. This new position is a big responsibility. All of my focus is here (on the church). As for my dreads, most people don’t know I can back up everything I do with scripture. “If you say I’m wrong to keep my hair as a pastor, I can tell you that God told Samson not to cut his hair in the Bible. That means long hair is not a bad thing. Also, if you say the pastor is keeping beard, I can tell you that the Bible says that when Jesus was tortured, they pulled hair from his face. “If you say this pastor is putting on earrings, I can tell you that in the book of Exodus, when the children of Israel got out of Egypt and wanted to do golden calf, they collected jewelry, rings, and earrings from their sons and daughters. “Anybody can do what they want. A personal opinion is different fro...

THE BIBLE SPEAKS DAILY (21092023). TODAY'S VERSE: ISAIAH 41:10. "...Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand..." THE FOOTPRINTS IN THE SAND. "One night I dreamed a dream. I was walking along the beach with my Lord. Across the dark sky flashed scenes from my life. For each scene, I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand, one belonging to me and one to my Lord. When the last scene of my life shot before me I looked back at the footprints in the sand and to my suprise, I noticed that many times along the path of my life there was only one set of footprints. I realized that this was at the lowest and saddest times of my life. That always bothered me and I questioned the Lord about my dilemma. "Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You, You would would walk and talk with me all the way. But, I'm aware that during the most troubl...

THE BIBLE SPEAKS DAILY (20092023) Today's Verse: Lamentations 3:26 "...It is good that one should hope and wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord..." WAITING QUIETLY. It is our duty always, and will be our comfort and satisfaction, to hope and sincerely seek for the salvation of the Lord Jesus Christ. Afflictions do and will work very much for our good: many have found it good to bear this yoke in their youth; it has made many humble and serious, and has weaned them from the world, who otherwise would have become proud and unruly.  If tribulation works patience, and patience works experience, then experience makes a hope that makes not ashamed! Have you noticed most of our time in this world is spent in waiting? We wait standing in line for our turn at the Bus Terminals, we wait for Exam results, and we wait for the Lord’s Day. Though we wait, but time passes away slowly! Waiting is a big part of life. It becomes overwhelming when we’re in distress. Somet...
