CAN WE BE PERFECT?

I have heard this from many Christians: "man can never be perfect in his walk with God, in this world ".

The knowledge of this ‎conclusion did not come from God's word, but from the opinions of men. 

God required all who want to walk with Him to be perfect : ‎Gen. 17:1. 

Jesus Christ wants all His Disciples to be perfect :Matt. 5:48.  

Paul, An Apostle of Jesus Christ preached, by the inspiration of God (2Tim. 3:16)‎, that Christians be perfect : 2Corinthians 13:11. 

GOD’S PROVISION. 

A). Knowledge of the Word of God 2Tim 3:16-17; 1John 2:5. 

B). Putting on the bond of perfection Col. 3 :13-14. 

C). Focusing your mind on the "reward " Phil. 3:14-15. 

D). Indwelling of ‎the Word of God John17:21-23; 1John 3:24. 

E). Self Control 1Peter 3:10; James 3:10; 1:26; 1Peter ‎2:1,22; Rev. 14:4-5. 

F). Patience under trials James 1:2-4. 

G). Do good works of faith James 2:21-22. 

H). Abstain from sin 1John 1:6-2:6. 

I). Mind your worship Eph. 4-12; 1Thes. 3:10; Col. 1:28; 4:12; Titus 1:5. 

EXAMPLES OF PERFECT MEN. 

A). Enoch. Gen. 5:22; Heb 11:5. 

B). Noah. Gen. 6:9; 7:1. 

C). Abraham. Gen. 17:1. 

D). Hezekiah. 2Kg 20:3.

E). David. 1Kg 9:4.

F). Job+Daniel. Ezek14:14,20; Job 1:1. G). Zacharias+Elizabeth. ‎Luke 1:6. 

H). There are others, in the roll-call of faithful Brethren in Hebrews 11 : Abel, Isaac, Sarah, Joseph, Moses, Rahab,‎ Gideon, Samson, Samuel, Barak, Jephthae.

I). There are still others, in the New Testament of our Lord Jesus Christ. 

We are to be as faithful as the saints of the New Testament. 

We are going to be judged, by the same rule, as the saints of the New Testament. John 12:48-50. 

God expects you to be perfect, because, He has supplied you, by grace, with all things needful.
