Miracle Done Away
The Bible says, "When that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away." (I Corinthians 13:10). Miracles and gifts of the Holy Spirit were used by God in the first century to confirm the spoken gospel of salvation (Hebrews 2:34).
The Bible says that prophecies and speaking in tongues miraculously would cease, when the complete knowledge and prophetic word of God was revealed (I Corinthians 13:10). Since the gospel has been confirmed and the New Testament fully revealed, then the purpose of miracles has been accomplished and they are needed no more.
